So, you want to work in UX? What kind of UX job are you looking for (agency, freelance, software, enterprise, etc.)? In this meetup, you’ll swap stories and learn from others who’ve successfully made the transition to a career in UX. Which skills are transferrable? How do you acknowledge your past experiences while demonstrating new skills? What’s the biggest challenge to breaking into your first role? Come prepared to share your own background, goals, and interests and learn from others who’ve already made the transition.
Panelists share their past and current experiences
Where does UX sit and what does it “look like” within an organization? In this session, our panelists, many of whom work with teams distributed around the planet, will share how their teams are structured and how UX works with other team members. They’ll touch upon the methods that they use, and how the team set up reflects that.
